INITIAL REQUEST

For this project, the architect found us through social media and reached out via email to inquire about our services. After exchanging a few emails, we scheduled a call to discuss the project in detail and introduce ourselves. Since this was our first collaboration with the client, the architect was understandably a bit skeptical and had several questions about our process and approach. We spoke with Angelina, the person in charge, and addressed all of their concerns.

Once they were confident in moving forward, they sent us the necessary details and materials for the project. After reviewing everything, we provided the initial deposit request. As soon as the deposit was paid and all materials were in place, we were ready to begin the project.

CLAY RENDERINGS

For this project, we didn’t need to model much, as the architect had already provided a ready-to-use model. Of course, we had to refine it to meet our studio standards for editing, but having the base model sped up the process significantly and helped us achieve the desired results faster.

As soon as the artists responsible for modelling finished this work, the next step was to create the "clay models." These were essential for selecting the best camera angles and ensuring that the facade and overall design aligned with the architect’s vision and 2D plans. As soon as we sent the clay models over to the architecture studio, they spotted some beams and other details that were not supposed to be there as their plans were updated.

Although the architect originally requested 7 final images from us, we provided 20, ensuring they had plenty of options to choose the perfect camera angles. Angelina and the team at Constanti Architects selected their preferred angles, requested a few more adjustments to the model, and then we moved forward with creating the first drafts.

FIRST DRAFT

We know had all the information to begin working on the project.

Our first task was to build out the environment. We carefully crafted a realistic setting that complemented the building, taking into account the surrounding landscape, lighting conditions, and the overall atmosphere the architect and client wanted for this project.

Once the environment was done, we collaborated closely with the architect to fine-tune the materials and textures for the building itself. Using the architect’s input, we applied the materials exactly where they needed to be.

Three days later, after intensive work on materials, lighting, and environment, the images were ready for the first proper review.

SECOND DRAFT

We sent the draft images to the client, and he was extremely pleased with the results. However, upon reviewing them, he realized that he wasn’t satisfied with the red color the architect had initially suggested for certain design elements. After some discussion, he decided to switch the color to green, which he immediately preferred and felt much better with the overall aesthetic.
